Camping and Hiking Adventures in Bastrop

With Loblolly Pines and majestic Oak trees, the Colorado River and Lake Bastrop are both wonderful places to camp and kayak. When your done for the day you can camp under the stars and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the Texas outdoors.

Good to Know:

We have different types of camping experiences you will be sure to enjoy. Pack a sleeping bag and have a blast on a 2 day trip down the Colorado River. You will set up for the night on Campout Island and then continue the trip in the morning.  Food, supplies, and all camping equipment are not included in the price of the trip, however we have plenty of supplies available if you would like to rent them.

If you enjoy camping but are not exactly into the roughing it experience, we offer a great alternative to camping. Our ConTENTment Camps are set up at the scenic and lovely Lake Bastrop and offer access to restroom facilities, spacious tents with a single or twin size bed, and on site breakfast delivery the next morning.

We Recommend:

For our two-day camping trip we recommend you bring supplies for meals, camping equipment, plenty of water and drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes, and a first aid kit. For the ConTENTment camping  you need supplies for meals other than breakfast provided bedding, sunscreen, and swim clothes.
